Research has shown that self-compassion greatly enhances emotional well-being. It boosts happiness, reduces anxiety and depression, and can be especially helpful during the challenging times we all face.  What we learn to do with self compassion practice practice is shift away from harsh self criticism and judgement to recognizing that as a human being, we too, are a worthy recipient of compassion. Paradoxically when we are kinder to ourselves, we become less defensive and more available in our relationships with others.

This 5-week class will introduce you to the foundations of self-compassion practice to help you build resilience in the face of emotional and physical pain while decreasing self-criticism and judgment of ourselves.
