Mindful Self-Compassion

Want to be able to handle difficult situations with less stress, pain, and anxiety?

Want to be as kind to yourself as you are to dear friends who face disappointment, fear, and conflict?

Join a limited number (35) of students, staff, and faculty for classes on:

MINDFUL SELF COMPASSION

MSC is a 6-week course that teaches you how to:

• DECREASE anxiety

• DECREASE depression and stress

• INCREASE relationship satisfaction

• INCREASE healthy habits like diet and exercise

• INCREASE emotional wellbeing

MSC, a researched-based program, is an adventure and an experiment in self-discovery and self-transformation. You will learn over 25 simple ways that will enable you to call on your own inner resources to soothe yourself in times of stress or pain.

Location and Time:  This is an online class and you will receive connection information from the teachers before the first class.

Teacher:

Megan Heiser is a graduate of InsightLA’s Facilitator Training program and her practice originates from the Zen tradition where she learned from her father. Today, she teaches the principles of Mindfulness and compassion for the self and others in order to live a more awake and joyful life. She is dedicated to offering a practice of care and kind attention to mind, body, and heart to help ease the stresses of our busy lives.
