Muscle Beach Mindfulness & Music Mini-Retreat (2nd Fridays) – In-Person

The mind is the most important muscle! Let’s gather together on the 2nd Friday of the month for a mindfulness meditation mini-retreat – sometimes with live music!! – at Santa Monica’s iconic Muscle Beach. Together, we’ll strengthen the muscle of mindfulness as we practice sitting and walking meditation in the good company of one another and the sun, sand, and sea. With nature’s elements inviting us to relax and release, this 90-minute mini-retreat offers a gentle reset for body, heart, and mind. Come as you are; leave feeling renewed, inspired, centered, and connected. 🌊🧘‍♀️✨

About this class

There is something so special about meditating at the beach. Our time will include brief teachings on mindfulness, sitting meditation, walking meditation, and community connection.

This location is accessible by Metro (Downtown Santa Monica stop). Metered lot and street parking is available for those who are driving. Please note: transportation from USC is not provided for this event.

Bring towels, blankets, chair, and/or whatever makes you comfortable on the sand. We look forward to sharing this morning of mindfulness with you!
