Mindfulness Under the Trees Mini-Retreat — In-Person
Please join us for a 2-hour mindfulness meditation mini-retreat under the beautiful trees of UPC.
When our minds are scattered or we feel lost, oftentimes the medicine we need most can be found in nature. Trees have their own unique ways of inviting us to slow down, draw nearer to our hearts, and marvel at the beauty of life. During this mini-retreat, we will rest and reflect under various trees on campus, including a canopy of Dragon Tree, fragrant Lemon Eucalyptus and a cascading Moreton Fig. We will explore different mindfulness practices to sink our roots deeper into presence and savor the brilliance within and all around us. The retreat format will include guided mindfulness practices, teacher reflections on a tree-inspired theme, opportunities to journal or express through art, and time for optional group sharing.
