Mindful of Earth: The Elements Series – In-Person
This series, which meets every-other-week, invites you to reconnect with the natural world as a source of grounding, clarity, and calm. Each of the five sessions in this series centers on one of five elements – Air, Fire, Water, Wood, and Earth – and introduces simple, nature-rooted mindfulness practices you can use anywhere, anytime. We will draw inspiration from the elements we encounter on campus, which will help guide our practices and deepen our connection to place.
You are welcome to participate in just one or two sessions or the entire series!

Week 1 / Feb 25 – AIR (Clarity, Breath, Awareness) – Location: Hahn Plaza (meet in the center)
Week 2 / Mar 11 – FIRE (Vitality, Courage, Transformation) – Location: USC Village Courtyard (meet at Hecuba’s sculpture)
Week 3 / Mar 25 – WATER (Flow, Emotional Ease, Release) -Location: Doheny Memorial Library (meet at the fountain)
Week 4 / Apr 8 – WOOD (Growth, Renewal, Resilience) – Location: RTCC Outdoor Patio (meet near the giant fig tree)
Week 5 / Apr 22 – EARTH (Rooting, Stability, Belonging) – Location: Queen’s Courtyard (meet at the fountain)
