Mindfulness Lab 2: Developing a Home Practice with Heart – Virtual
During the month of April, near the end of the academic year, we’ll take some time together to strengthen and deepen our home mindfulness practice. In this 4-week series, we’ll revisit the essential foundations of mindfulness and explore practical ways to build a steady, sustainable meditation routine—both at home and while on the go.
This class is designed for meditators with prior experience who are ready to develop greater confidence, consistency, fun, and ease in their personal practice. It’s a true joy to develop your home practice!
As you soften toward the breath and return to it with kindness, it becomes a home for the wandering mind. In the same way, your home practice can become a heart-centered refuge—something you can lean on with warmth and trust in the midst of life’s ups and downs.
This class will include:
- Finding unique rituals and habits to support your on-going practice
- How not to burn out on meditation. “Walk slowly, go further.”
- Answer more deeply the question, “Why do I meditate?”
- Deepening the basics of Mindfulness; the body, emotions and thoughts.
- Deepening of Loving Kindness practice and Self- Compassion.
