Robin Ward

Robin loves engaging with the university community through Mindful USC.

As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker at USC Counseling and Mental Health services, she provided individual and group therapy to students for 27 years. During that time, Robin facilitated groups in Mindful Well-Being, Self Discovery through Creativity, and Mindful Self-Compassion. As a psychotherapist, she integrates mindfulness and compassion into her work with clients.

Robin’s mindfulness and meditation practice of many years draws from the wisdom and teachings of Buddhism and the contemplative path of the Christian mystics. Being in the natural world, reading poetry aloud, and writing creatively bring her joy in the present, each moment to moment. In teaching Mindful Self-Compassion, Robin is attentive to creating a space where participants feel included and appreciated for their similarities and differences. She is honored to walk with them as they journey toward a deeper experience of loving-kindness and acceptance of themselves and others.
